Kenosha County Public Health is now offering harm reduction vending machines at three
locations in the community, Health Officer Lori Plahmer announced today.
These machines provide Narcan, fentanyl test strips and various other items for public health
needs, all free of charge.
The newest machine was installed recently outside the Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
program office at 2000 63rd St. in Kenosha’s Uptown.
Previously installed machines remain available at the Kenosha County Job Center, 8600
Sheridan Road, and the Sharing Center, 25700 Wilmot Road, Trevor.
The WIC office and Sharing Center machines are located outdoors and are available 24/7. The
Job Center machine is in the commons area indoors and is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday-Friday.
Additionally, the HOPE Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse offers a similar machine,
available 24/7, outside its headquarters at 6103 39th Ave. in Kenosha.
