Kenosha School Children to Open a Community Garden at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets on Better World Day May 3

Students from Harborside Academy in Kenosha, Wis., will plant and unveil to the public a community garden that has been the result of months of meticulous planning among students, faculty, and supporters at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets.

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow,” said Christine Weyand, Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets Director of Marketing and Business Development, quoting Audrey Hepburn. “It has been an honor to be involved in this project which will benefit our community educationally and environmentally. Harborside students earn well over 100 hours of community service and complete their own service project before reaching graduation.
