Sonos, the industry leader in smart speakers, has launched the Sonos Era 300 and Era 100, their next generation of speakers that promise to deliver a new level of sound and design innovation. The Era 300 is a powerful speaker that provides out-loud spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, while the Era 100 is a remastered version of the popular Sonos One. Both speakers come with expanded connectivity and Trueplay technology, and are built to Sonos’ new responsible design standards, including long-term serviceability, energy-efficient technologies, and the use of post-consumer recycled materials. The Era 300 and Era 100 will be available globally on March 28, 2023, at $449 USD and $249 USD respectively.
The Era 300 boasts six powerful drivers that direct sound left, right, forward, and upward, creating a breakthrough audio performance featuring Dolby Atmos. It also delivers multi-channel surround sound when used as home theater rears, and has been fine-tuned by leading artists and creators. The Era 100, only slightly larger than its predecessor Sonos One, features all-new hardware and software with next-gen acoustics and design, creating detailed stereo sound and deep bass. Both speakers come with sustainable design features, such as using post-consumer recycled plastic and packaging in 100% sustainably sourced paper, reducing power consumption, and improving serviceability. The Era 100 and Era 300 feature an intuitive new user interface, including a new capacitive volume slider, and can be controlled through Sonos Voice Control, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth.
