Hospice Alliance is proud to celebrate 45 years of service to our community! Hospice Alliance was founded on September 25, 1981, by a group of local citizens who came together to ensure that quality end-of-life care and family support were available to residents of southeastern Wisconsin. Over the years, Hospice Alliance has expanded our services to meet every patient’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Thanks to our staff members, volunteers, complementary therapies, palliative care program, and Hospice House, we can provide one-of-a-kind, patient-focused care.
Since our founding in 1981, we have stayed true to our roots as a community-based non-profit organization, always guided by our mission of ‘Adding Life to Days’ and providing care to all, regardless of their ability to pay. We continue to hold ourselves to the highest standard of care and focus on what we can do to improve not only the quality of our patients’ lives, but also the lives of their families, loved ones, and the community as a whole. We continue to exceed expectations, as demonstrated by our Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission, and are proud to be one of only three of the 78 We Honor Veterans-certified hospices in the state of Wisconsin to receive a 5-star rating.
Through our expanding services, Hospice Alliance is also committed to educating and supporting our community around the realities of end-of-life care. We believe that with the right support, families do not have to navigate serious illness alone. Hospice and palliative care can allow loved ones to step back from the role of caregiver and simply be a wife, husband, daughter, son, friend, or loved one. We hope that, by providing this support, we can allow families to focus on what matters most: spending meaningful time together.
Our team at Hospice Alliance would like to say thank you for placing your trust in us to provide care when it matters most.
We look forward to supporting the community for the next 45 years and far beyond.
