Saturday, November 9th | Applications Now Open for Parade Participants
The holiday season is just around the corner, and the Downtown Racine Corporation invites you to join in the festivities at this year’s Downtown Racine Holiday Parade and Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 9th! Parade participant applications are now open, offering the perfect opportunity for local organizations, businesses, and community groups to be part of this beloved holiday tradition. Applications can be downloaded at [RacineDowntown.com](http://RacineDowntown.com) or picked up in person at 425 Main St.. The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2024.
Event Details:
•Holiday Parade:
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the west side of the State Street Bridge, marching down Main Street, turning onto 6th Street, and concluding at City Hall. With dazzling floats, lively marching bands, and plenty of holiday cheer, this is a family-friendly event you won’t want to miss. The parade will wrap up around 6:45 p.m.
•Tree-Lighting Ceremony:
The celebration continues immediately following the parade at Monument Square, where Santa Claus will light the holiday tree in a spectacular ceremony. Gather with friends and family as we officially kick off the holiday season in Downtown Racine.
•Fireworks Show:
Stay for a grand finale as a special fireworks display lights up the night sky, adding even more magic to this festive evening.
