Get your boots and cowboy hats ready, because on September 6, from 4 pm to 9 pm, Downtown Racine is turning up the heat at First Friday! The vibrant community of merchants, restaurants, and bars is ready to roll out the red carpet for you, offering a shopping and dining experience that’s bigger and better than ever. Attendees are encouraged to wear cowboy boots and hats.

Enjoy toe-tapping, boot-stomping country tunes by The Roundabouts, who will be performFFJuly 2023-007.ing live at Monument Square. And during the band break, make sure to catch Marci’s on Main Cowgirls as they bring the energy with some electrifying line dancing – a perfect moment to join in on the fun!

Live music will fill the air at all your favorite downtown spots like Brickhouse, The Ivanhoe, Marci’s on Main, Reefpoint Brew House, Dimples, Chartroom, and Uncorkt. First Fridays are more than just an event – they’re a celebration of our thriving community, our rich culture, and the lively spirit that defines Downtown Racine.

Kelly Kruse, Executive Director of the DRC, expressed enthusiasm about the series: “We are incredibly proud to have grown First Fridays significantly, capturing a statewide award and celebrating another summer with a free event that brings the community together.”

Parking is conveniently available at the Lake Avenue Ramp (300 Lake Avenue), Civic Centre Ramp (501 Lake Avenue), and the McMynn Ramp (120 7th Street) or Shoop (Main & State) for an all-day rate of only $3.50.
