Trolley Dogs will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with special offers from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Among the deals that day are $2 Chicago Dogs and $4 Chicago Dog Meals. Customers that day will be given a coupon to use on their next visit. A prepaid hotdog card, valid for a year, will also be available. For $25, the cardholder can have one Chicago Dog a month.
The owners of Trolley Dogs are using this event as a kickoff to the summer season. Situated in an ideal location in Downtown Kenosha, the restaurant is located near two marinas, as well as event venues such as Veterans Memorial Park and HarborPark Celebration Place. The Electric Streetcar line is nearby.
A community-minded business, Trolley Dogs has hosted a December event to feed the homeless for the past nine years. That event will continue to be held each year.
Trolley Dogs has had a few owners over the years. “When I first encountered Trolley Dogs, I was immediately drawn to its nostalgic charm and the incredible sense of community it fostered,” says one of the co-owners Devin Mosley. “I knew that owning this business would give me the opportunity to not only serve delicious food but also make a positive impact on the lives of our customers and the local community.”
