Hospice Alliance is hosting “Planting Memories,” a special community event designed to support children and teenagers (ages 18 and under) who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The event will take place on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hospice Alliance facility in Pleasant Prairie.
Understanding the unique challenges youth face when navigating grief, Hospice Alliance created “Planting Memories” to give young people a safe, supportive, and engaging environment to process their feelings. Attendees will enjoy age-appropriate activities and refreshments, as well as decorate a terra cotta pot and plant a flower to take home in honor of their loved one.
