Memorial Day programs, ceremonies to be heldacross Kenosha County

 

Memorial Day will be observed at various events across Kenosha County over the holiday

weekend. Here is a list of programs, compiled by the Kenosha County Division of Veterans

Services:

What: Pritzker Military Museum & Library Memorial Day event

When: Saturday, May 23, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: 10475 12th St. (Highway E), Somers

Note: Highlights to include a remembrance program at 11 a.m. featuring remarks by Lt. Col.

Jennifer Pritzker; a Somers Fire & Rescue truck visit and a live caricature artist from noon to 3

p.m.; and opportunities to honor fallen service members, community information tables, hands-

on crafts, and additional family activities all day. Admission is free. Those who pre-register will

receive free admission to the museum’s next exhibit in June. Online registration is available at

What: Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony (rain or

shine)

When: Sunday, May 24, 11 a.m.

Where: 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove
