Downtown Racine’s 6th Annual Candy Hop and Scavenger Hunt returns on Saturday, April 4 from 12–2 PM. This free, family-friendly event invites kids and families to explore downtown while visiting 30+ participating businesses offering free candy along the route. Candy bags, event maps, face painting, snap spot, and event maps will be available at the Downtown Racine Corp. office (425 Main St).
“We’re excited to continue offering free, family-focused events that bring people downtown,” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director of the Downtown Racine Corporation. “Candy Hop is a great way for families to explore local businesses while spending time together.”
In addition to the candy stops, participants can take part in a self-guided PEEPS®-themed scavenger hunt. Completed maps turned in to the DRC office by 3:30 PM on April 4 will be entered to win one of three kids’ prize packs.
