Kenosha County Executive Samantha Kerkman invites bicyclists of all ability levels to
participate in the annual Fall Wheel Ride to Petrifying Springs Park on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.
The ride will begin at Kemper Center, 6501 Third Ave., at 9 a.m., with participants making their
way along the Lake Michigan shoreline before heading west toward Petrifying Springs Park
The route covers 7.8 miles each way and highlights some of the most scenic views Kenosha
County has to offer. The Kenosha/Racine Bike Club will guide riders along the course, with
Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputies providing a safe escort to and from the park.
After the ride, participants are invited to gather at the Petrifying Springs Biergarten, where
Kenosha County Parks and the Biergarten will provide complimentary light refreshments.
“The Fall Wheel Ride has become a favorite way for bicyclists to welcome autumn and enjoy the
county’s parks and trails as the leaves begin to turn,” Kerkman said.
“I encourage people to get
out and enjoy our parks during this beautiful season.”
Event details, including a map of the route, are available at: https://bit.ly/FallWheelRide. No
