Kenosha County government is again headed to the County Fair, County Executive
Samantha Kerkman announced today.
Continuing a service that has grown since its inception in 2022, Kerkman and representatives of
various county divisions will be available to meet with the public throughout the fair, which runs
Wednesday-Sunday, Aug. 13-17.
The county government activities and resources available at the fair will include free Narcan
training, information about Behavioral and Public Health Services, Extension Kenosha County
programming, Veterans Services, careers with Kenosha County, and more.
LINK-Western Kenosha Transportation is offering door-to-door rides to the fair from
destinations within its service area for $5 each day through Saturday, with reservations required.

“The County Fair is one of the highlights of the summer in Kenosha County, and it’s our
pleasure to bring county services to the public on the fairgrounds,” Kerkman said. “We
encourage fairgoers to stop by and learn about county resources, or just to say hi.”
The county government campus — anchored by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office,
Emergency Management and DARE booths — is located in the heart of the fairgrounds, near the
poultry barn and across from the sale and show arena.
New this year are two promotions aimed at enhancing the physical environment in Kenosha
County: Fairgoers who sign a pledge to become a Kenosha County Bee Ambassador will receive
a package of pollinator seeds and an official certificate from the county executive, while
Extension Kenosha County will also be handing out Butterfly Garden seeds.
The Kenosha County Fairgrounds are located on Highway W (Fox River Road) just north of
Highway C (113th Street) in Wilmot. For more information about the fair, including a full
