Kenosha County Hosts Annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair

Kenosha County will proudly host its annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair this Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center, located at 8600 Sheridan Road, Entrance D. This event, announced by County Executive Samantha Kerkman, is a community gathering dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of all who have served in the U.S. military. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with breakfast beginning at 9:15 a.m.

“We welcome veterans, their families, and all community members who support our veterans to join us for a morning of camaraderie, support, and gratitude,” said Kerkman. Sponsored by Piasecki Funeral Home, the free breakfast will provide a warm meal and a space for reflection and appreciation.

The event will include military honors, the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner, and a brief program starting at 9 a.m. Additionally, a resource fair will feature informational vendors and free haircuts offered by Gateway Technical College student barbers throughout the morning.

“This is the kickoff event to a week-long series of Veterans Day celebrations across Kenosha County,” said Kerkman, “providing opportunities to connect, learn, and honor our veterans.”
