Locally owned boutique shop offering deep discounts!
The first ever Tent Sale at Maggie Mae Creations will be held Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 from 10am – 4pm both days. Maggie Mae’s is a boutique shop located in the Gangler Park neighborhood and is housed in a “she shed” or tiny home style structure. Five women create the housewares, décor, accessories, and gift items that are found in the shop.
“This is our first tent sale event. We hope to see a lot of new faces at the shop,” says owner, Vallerie Burton. “The goal is to clear out some of the current designs to make room for the many new holiday items coming in!”
Items that can be found at the tent sales include yard decorations, porch signs, seasonal home décor, crochet blankets, and plushies. Shoppers will also find a variety of hand soaps, candles, charcuteries board gift sets, freeze-dried candies, tumblers, personalized trick-or-treat bags, glass art, and more.
Located at 6436 81st Street, the boutique opened in 2022 and has since expanded in the number of creators filling the space. Regular store hours are Saturdays from 10am – 4pm. Classes and workshops are offered, including two upcoming crochet classes. Maggie Mae Creations will also be one of the sponsors at the upcoming City of Kenosha Fall into Fun Festival, helping kids decorate free pumpkins! A decorating workshop will be held at the boutique the weekend before, too.
