Kenosha County Public Health and other partners are hosting a back-to-school health fair for
families from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Brass Community School.
This free event will include walk-in immunizations, backpacks and school supplies, and an
opportunity to connect with local community programs and resources for families.
Brass Community School is located at 6400 15th Ave. in Kenosha.
More than 1,000 people attended a similar event last year, said Kenosha County Executive
Samantha Kerkman.
“This is a terrific opportunity for families to make sure they’re prepared for the new school year
and to learn more about the health and family resources available through the county and other
partners,” Kerkman said.
Immunizations will be available for children enrolled in or eligible for Medicaid, those with no
insurance, and those with insurance that does not cover immunizations.
In addition to Kenosha County Public Health, event partners include Racine Kenosha
Community Action, the Shalom Center, WIC and the Mary Lou & Arthur F. Mahone Fund.
