Holiday baked goods, ready-to-give gifts and many handmade local items will be available at the Kenosha Holiday Winter HarborMarket from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16th at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, 5706 8th Ave.
“More than 50 vendor booths, featuring gourmet foods, baked goods, gift ideas, decorations and so much more will be featured,” Kenosha HarborMarket Executive Director Andrea Forgianni said. “We appreciate our partnership with The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, which is in its third year, so that we can bring this event to the public and to boost small local businesses in our area.”
The Holiday Winter HarborMarket will be located on the Second Floor Ballroom, and the Lower-Level Heritage Hallway and Elks Room at The Stella. Both floors are fully accessible for people with health conditions and impairments. The hotel and the space will be festively decorated, Forgianni said.
Food and beverages, including alcohol, will be available to eat and drink on site.
Santa Claus is, of course, coming to town and will be on the balcony of the ballroom to greet children and their families from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Forgianni said. The band, Songstress, featuring Brennan Pierce, will perform from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the ballroom.
“This will be a great opportunity for people to get into the holiday spirit and also to find wonderful, handcrafted and homemade gifts for yourself and loved ones,” Forgianni said. “Many vendors will feature items in gift baskets and holiday containers.”
Forgianni said this Kenosha HarborMarket’s capstone event and the highlight of the season for both shoppers and local vendors.
“I am grateful to the volunteer Board of Directors for Kenosha HarborMarket, our staff and the staff of The Stella for the planning and implementation of what continues to be a holiday highlight in Kenosha,” Forgianni said.
Parking will be plentiful, both on-street and at the City of Kenosha Downtown Parking Structure, free for public use.
