Downtown Racine’s Signature Wine Walks Return May 9 & 16

An unforgettable spring experience featuring wine, shopping, and lakefront charm

Downtown Racine is ready to uncork one of its most anticipated spring traditions. The Downtown Racine Corporation (DRC) proudly announces the return of its Wine Walks on May 9 and May 16 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, inviting guests to sip, stroll, and explore in the vibrant energy of the downtown district along the shores of Lake Michigan.

This immersive tasting event brings together 30 downtown businesses, each hosting curated selections of 20 wines and 10 craft beer samples, creating a dynamic experience that blends flavor, exploration, and community. As guests make their way through boutiques, restaurants, and unique spaces, they’ll enjoy not only exceptional tastings but also the welcoming atmosphere that defines Downtown Racine.

Tickets are $40 and include a custom wine sampling glass, a canvas tote, a wristband and map, and snacks at each stop—making it a high-value, all-inclusive afternoon designed for both casual participants and wine enthusiasts alike. Limited VIP tickets are also available for $70.

“The Wine Walks are one of the best ways to experience everything downtown has to offer in a single afternoon,” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director of the Downtown Racine Corporation. “It’s not just about the wine—it’s about discovering new businesses, connecting with friends, and experiencing the energy that makes downtown so special.”

The May 9 event falls just ahead of Mother’s Day, offering a perfect opportunity to celebrate with a memorable outing filled with great wine, local shopping, and quality time together.

The Wine Walks are presented by DRC,  Zeigler Hyundai, Harborspot,  Reefpoint Marina, Reefpoint Brew House, and Mt. Pleasant Tourism. Sponsored by Breakwater 233, Lakeview Pharmacy, The Maple Table, and Tight Seal

Convenient downtown parking is available at the Lake Avenue, Shoop, Civic Centre, and McMynn ramps for just $4 per day, making it easy for visitors to spend the entire afternoon exploring.

With strong attendance year after year and a reputation as one of Downtown Racine’s premier events, tickets are expected to sell quickly. Guests are encouraged to secure their spot early and be part of an experience that continues to drive energy, foot traffic, and economic impact throughout the district.
