Anchors Away! Anchor Press, Paper, and Print has relocated to the historic Brass Light Gallery building

Anchor Press, Paper and Print (AP3) is excited to announce its relocation to the new House of RAD Menomonee Valley. Many might recognize the new location as the historic Brass Light Gallery building, located in Milwaukee’s Design District.

Join us on Saturday, February 28th from 6-9 pm as we celebrate our move. There will be live printmaking demonstrations, food, drinks, and good company. This free event is open to the public. Come and learn about this important creative resource that is available in Milwaukee.

After three years serving the creative community from the 900 E. Keefe Ave. location within the House of RAD, AP3 will be getting a significant facilities upgrade. The new location, at 12th St and Saint Paul, will allow for extended operating hours, additional programming, and an even more welcoming environment for all.

“Printmaking has long been known as the ‘democratic medium’ — a way of sharing stories, ideas, and perspectives with wide audiences. At AP3, we use print as a means to connect people, inspire dialogue, and ensure that art remains accessible to everyone.” according to Jessica Meunick-Ganger, AP3 Board President. “This move isn’t just about expanding our physical footprint but rather centrally locating ourselves to extend our reach to the creative communities of Milwaukee.”

This transition wouldn’t be possible without your support. Whether you’ve taken a class, printed a poster, or simply stopped by to see what’s happening—you’ve helped us fulfill our mission of creating a community space for all to gain educational and hands-on experiences in fine art printmaking and papermaking. Services including workshops and studio memberships are anticipated to resume in February 2026.
