Visit Kenosha Announces Winners of 2025 Photo Contest

Terry Maraccini of Kenosha took the first place photo of the North Pier Lighthouse. His angle was from Simmons Island. Jesenia Jaimes of Kenosha took the second place photo of her children walking together at Lincoln Park. This photo is included in the 2026 Kenosha Area Visitors Guide. Mike Middleton of Pleasant Prairie took the third place photo of Lake Michigan and the North Pier Lighthouse during a subzero sunrise.

The photos can be seen online; the link is at VisitKenosha.com/Photos. Each winner will be awarded a Shop, Dine, Play Package, comprised of gift cards to local stores, restaurants, and attractions. The First Place winner’s package is valued at $300, Second Place at $200, and Third Place at $100. Visit Kenosha thanks all of the entrants for participating and the businesses for the gift cards.

 

The photo contest continues this year. The individuals who submit the winning photos during 2026 will be awarded a $100 dining gift card in January 2027.

Each photo submitted has the chance to be used on VisitKenosha.com, as well as in the Kenosha Area Visitors Guide and other marketing, to promote the Kenosha Area as a fun and exciting place for out-of-town visitors. Photos are judged based on content and quality. Visit Kenosha is looking for photos that represent all four seasons in Kenosha County and that are taken at public spaces that visitors can enjoy. Examples include photos of recreational activities, landmarks, and attractions.
