Kenosha County Parks’ Halloween Movie Night returns Oct. 25
Halloween Movie Night is back at Petrifying Springs Park this Saturday, Oct. 25.
Located behind the Petrifying Springs Biergarten, the event will begin at 3 p.m. with free games
and activities, including pumpkin painting and pumpkin bowling.
From 3 to 6 p.m., the public is welcome to trick-or-treat with the nonprofits that will be on site.
Representatives of Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services Inc., Scouting America, UW-
Extension and more will be handing out candy and sharing information about their groups and
services.
Around 6 p.m., the evening will conclude with a free outdoor screening of Disney-Pixar’s
Monsters, Inc. The movie will be shown on the inflatable screen right outside the Biergarten.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and warm clothes for a cozy evening under the
stars.
The next holiday event at Petrifying Springs will be the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 3
p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, hosted by County Executive Samantha Kerkman.
Petrifying Springs Park is located at 5555 Seventh St. (Highway A) in the Village of Somers.
