Hospice Alliance invites children and teenagers who have experienced the loss of a loved one to attend “Planting Memories,” a free bereavement event designed to provide healing through creative expression and community support.
During the hour-long event, participants will decorate a terra cotta pot and plant a flower to take home in honor of their loved one. The evening will also include light refreshments and supportive activities aimed at helping youth navigate grief in a gentle and meaningful way.
“Hospice Alliance understands that grief can be especially difficult for children and teens,” said a spokesperson from Hospice Alliance. “This event provides a safe space for them to express their emotions, connect with others, and honor the memories of those they’ve lost.”
RSVP is requested by Tuesday, August 12.
To register, please contact Bereavement Services at 262-652-4482 ext. 1268 or email bereavement@hospicealliance.org.
