Kerkman announces appointment of Pamela Condos to lead Division of Children & Family Services

Executive Samantha Kerkman today announced a change in leadership within Kenosha County’s Division of Children & Family Services.

Pamela Condos has been appointed to succeed former Division Director Ron Rogers, who retired on March 31. Her appointment will be presented to the County Board for a confirmation vote later this month.

Condos previously served as the Division Manager, working directly under Rogers. She joined Kenosha County as a Social Worker in 2012 after a 17-year tenure at Community Impact Programs, a nonprofit specializing in foster care, youth justice, and child welfare services. She is a state-certified licensed social worker.

“Pamela brings a strong skillset and a deep passion for advocating for the well-being of children and strengthening families,” Kerkman said. “I am confident she will continue to build upon the solid foundation that Ron Rogers established during his many years of service to the county.”

Condos holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University. She expressed enthusiasm for her new role as Division Director.

“I am excited about the opportunities, challenges, and collaborations that lie ahead,” Condos said. “I am fortunate to work with a dedicated team that shares a common goal—to help others thrive and fulfill our mission of promoting the safety and well-being of children, families, and the community through quality services.”

Kenosha County Human Services Director John Jansen commended Condos’ career-long dedication to supporting youth and families, noting her progression through the county’s ranks as a social worker, supervisor, program manager, and now division director.

“Pamela has the skills and leadership experience to continue leading the division in a forward-facing manner,” Jansen said. “She is eager to continue collaborating with our community partners to address the needs of youth and families in our community.”

Jansen also praised Ron Rogers, who joined the county in 2000 and was promoted from Social Work Supervisor to Division Director in 2008.

“Ron was widely recognized across the state as a leader in children and family services, child welfare, and youth justice,” Jansen said. “He was highly respected and a dedicated advocate who built a strong collaborative network to support our residents.”
