17th Annual Downtown Racine St. Patrick’s Day Parade Set for March 15

Downtown Racine is turning green as the highly anticipated 17th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns on Saturday, March 15, at 12:00 PM! This beloved community event welcomes thousands of residents and visitors to enjoy a lively, family-friendly celebration featuring festive floats, music, dancing, and an abundance of Irish spirit.

 

The parade will kick off at the intersection of State Street and Main Street, proceeding south along Main Street before turning west onto Sixth Street and concluding near City Hall. With over 35 participating groups, spectators can look forward to an exciting lineup, including the Racine Raiders, Dragon Boat team, Carriage House Pedal Tavern, high-energy dance troupes, and various community organizations.

“This parade isn’t just a march—it’s the official kickoff to spring in Downtown Racine,” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director of the Downtown Racine Corporation. “For 17 years, we’ve been bringing people together to celebrate community, culture, and of course, a little Irish luck!”

 

Post-Parade Festivities

 

Following the parade, the celebration continues throughout Downtown Racine’s bars and restaurants, where guests can enjoy exclusive St. Patrick’s Day food and drink specials. Whether indulging in a traditional Irish meal or raising a pint in honor of the occasion, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
