Downtown Racine’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade Returns for Its 17th Year!

Get ready to paint the town green! The Downtown Racine St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back for its 17th year, bringing festive fun and community spirit to the heart of the city. Join the celebration on Saturday, March 15, at noon, as over 3,000 spectators gather for this lively, family-friendly event that signals the arrival of spring in grand style.

 

The parade kicks off at the intersection of State Street and Main Street, traveling south on Main, then west onto Sixth Street, and wrapping up near City Hall. Expect a vibrant procession featuring dazzling floats, talented performers, and beloved community groups, all coming together to create an unforgettable spectacle.

 

“This parade is more than just a march—it’s a celebration of community, culture, and the joy of springtime in downtown Racine,” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director of the Downtown Racine Corporation. “We’re excited to bring people together once again for a day filled with Irish spirit and local pride.”

 

This year’s lineup is packed with excitement, including crowd favorites like the Racine Raiders, Racine Dragon Boat Club, and the Carriage House Pedal Tavern, along with energetic singing and dancing groups sure to entertain all ages.

 

After the parade, visitors are encouraged to explore downtown’s vibrant bars and restaurants, many of which will be offering special St. Patrick’s Day-themed food and drink deals throughout the day.

 

Parking & Accessibility

 

For easy access to the festivities, parking is available for just $4 all day at the Lake Avenue Ramp, Civic Centre Ramp, Shoop Ramp, and McMynn Ramp.
