Festival Park is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever “Submarine Races,” a lighthearted and whimsical community event taking place on April Fools’ Day, 2025. Designed to bring laughter and joy to Racine, this unique event promises an evening of entertainment, delicious food, and unforgettable memories.
“We’re excited to bring some lighthearted fun to Racine with this whimsical event,” said Patrick Flynn, General Manager of Festival Park. “The ‘Submarine Races’ offer a chance for couples and friends to enjoy a special evening filled with music, great food, and a touch of playful mischief.”
Event Highlights
– Free Parking & Swag Bags: Arrive after 6:00 PM to receive a complimentary swag bag filled with surprises.
– Pre-Race Festivities (6:00 PM – 8:30 PM):
– Enjoy live music and specialty cocktails at Festival Hall.
– Indulge in a romantic dinner for two (reservations required).
– Capture memories at the kissing booth or purchase a commemorative brick to mark your “first kiss.”
– Dedicated Viewing Area: Relax in the Lakeview Oasis for the best views of the “races.”
– The “Submarine Races”: Experience the excitement of this uniquely entertaining spectacle as the “races” kick off at dusk.
