Festival Park on Racine’s Harbor to Host Event June 13 & 14, 2025
Racine HarborFest is making a highly anticipated return to Festival Park on Racine’s Harbor after an 18-year hiatus. Mark your calendars for June 13 and 14, 2025, as the beloved event revives its tradition of music, food, and family fun.
This exciting comeback is spearheaded by three Racine locals: Gary Suokko, former Chief Operating Officer of Piggly Wiggly Stores; Jeff Marsh, founder of Char Grill, Inc., operators of the Charcoal Grill Restaurants; and Mark Wittenberg, former National Sales Director at S.C. Johnson.
Originally known as Piggly Wiggly Harbor Fest, the festival ran from 1987 to 2007, delighting residents across southeastern Wisconsin with a mix of local and national music acts, diverse family activities, and a vibrant community spirit.
The 2025 Racine HarborFest will feature two stages showcasing top local and regional performers over the two-day event. Charcoal Grill will lead food services, complemented by a variety of local food trucks.
“Our goal is to give back to the Racine community,” shared Mark Wittenberg. “We’ve established a not-for-profit organization to manage the event, with all net profits going to local charities. The Racine Food Bank is already confirmed as one of our beneficiaries.”
Beyond entertainment, Racine HarborFest aims to play a vital role in revitalizing Festival Park and driving tourism to downtown Racine.
To make the 2025 event a success, HarborFest is seeking financial support from sponsors, including a headline sponsor for naming rights. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, offering on-site branding, social media exposure, website presence, and VIP hospitality perks.
