Kenosha Woman’s Club is new location for Winter HarborMarket

Kenosha’s Original Market is relocating indoors for the winter to a new location in Downtown Kenosha at the historic GFWC Woman’s Club of Kenosha, located at 6028 Eighth Ave., Kenosha.

Kenosha HarborMarket’s Winter Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays for its 23-week indoor season, starting on Saturday, November 9th, and concluding on Saturday, April 26th. Additionally, there will be a special Holiday Winter Market on Saturday, December 14th, at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, situated at 5706 Eighth Ave. The Winter Market will be closed on Saturday, December 28th.

Andrea Forgianni, the executive director of Kenosha HarborMarket, expressed excitement among vendors and customers about the Winter HarborMarket’s new location at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha.

“We are delighted to return to Downtown Kenosha for our Winter HarborMarket,” Forgianni said. “The vendors and the public have missed the vibrant atmosphere of the downtown area. We are thrilled to collaborate with the GRWC Woman’s Club of Kenosha in a building that is both aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located.”

The new Kenosha HarborMarket Winter Market location will be officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce at 9 a.m. on November 9th, in front of the Woman’s Club of Kenosha. The first 100 guests will be delighted with a complimentary cup of coffee. The event will be accompanied by music provided by Barb and Tom Webber, setting the perfect ambiance for the kickoff of the first Winter HarborMarket.

“The Woman’s Club of Kenosha is thrilled to welcome the Kenosha HarborMarket and its vendors and customers to our picturesque home. This is a chance for the public to explore our historic home, built in 1848 and proudly owned by us since 1923. We invite you to stop by and discover the wonderful events happening at The Woman’s Club of Kenosha!”

Parking is ample, with street parking on Eighth Avenue and a spacious parking lot behind the building on Sheridan Road. Visitors can enter the building through the door facing the parking lot. The Woman’s Club is fully accessible, with a wheelchair ramp conveniently located at its parking lot on Sheridan Road.

Forgianni promises a diverse range of the exceptional products that Kenosha HarborMarket vendors are known for, including fresh local produce, meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods, prepared meals, soap, and unique artisan creations. SNAP benefits are accepted.
