Randall Fire Department Installs Dedicated Medical Helipad at Station #2

Press release 2 helipad copy. The Randall Fire Department completed installation of a

helipad at Station #2, CTH F and 336″ Ave in the Town of Randall. The helipad was

designed in conjunction with Flight For Life air ambulance. Said Fire Captain David

Modder, himself a pilot, “We worked with the FFL people to insure their needs were

addressed regarding size, placement, lighting and possible hazards. Having a

dedicated landing zone will add greatly to the safety for Fire and EMS personal on the

ground”. The Helipad will be used exclusively as a medical landing zone serving the

needs of western Kenosha and eastern Walworth Counties. This location is the only

dedicated medical landing zone west of US 45 in the area. Construction was made

possible by the generous donations of labor, material and equipment by these local

businesses: Ericksen Electric, Swederski Concrete, Thelen Materials and Fire Department

members.

Please join us for a formal dedication, Thursday November 7’h, 10:00AM. Refreshments

will be served.
