Walk in the Woods Art Fair returns Saturday, September 7

Hawthorn Hollow is proud to announce that our Walk in the Woods Art Fair will be returning on Saturday, September 7 from 10am-4pm. This year, we will feature almost 80 artists displaying their wares along our trails. Attendees will be able to browse and purchase paintings, sculptures, pottery, furniture, artistic photography, and more.

While the Walk in the Woods is known as an art fair primarily, there will be plenty of other things going on to keep everyone interested. Local musicians, including Kenny Zdroik, Mark Paffrath, Bone Appetite, Kevin Grissom & Brent Mitchell, and Rusty Horse, will be performing throughout the day. Dave Ramey and Ted Runnels from the Chicago Gumbo podcast will be spinning tunes as well. Additionally, a wide selection of food and beverages, such as wine and craft beers, will be available for purchase.

Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum is a 90+ acre preserve that is free to the public. Since it opened over 50 years ago, Hawthorn Hollow has focused on education, offering field trip opportunities to local schools as well as adult and family classes in a wide variety of disciplines, from crafting to cooking. Hawthorn Hollow’s rental event facility, the Ozanne Outpost, has also become a popular event venue and conference center. Visit Hawthornhollow.org for more information.

The Walk in the Woods Art Fair will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, September 7. Admission is $10 per vehicle. Cash only, please. No Carry-Ins.
