Hawthorn Hollow is excited to announce a June matching fundraiser for the construction
of a Wildlife Observation Blind and Wetland Education Station at Chorus Pond. This new initiative aims to
provide visitors with a unique opportunity to observe local wildlife in their natural habitats.
The Observation Blind will allow guests to witness the majestic flight of birds, the foraging activities of
mammals, the sounds and sights of reptiles and amphibians, and the serene beauty of nature with minimal
disturbance to the environment. This project underscores Hawthorn Hollow’s dedication to protecting
wildlife and their habitats while fostering a deeper public appreciation for nature.
Donations made in June will be matched by an anonymous donor, doubling the impact of every
contribution. Supporters are encouraged to donate before June 30, 2024, to help make this vision a
reality.
