Les Carroll, author of This Troubled Ground, documentary filmmaker, USAF/SCANG (retired), and Afghanistan veteran will be in Kenosha for one day only signing books and meeting new readers. Les served in the Air Force and Air National Guard for 28 years and served two tours in Afghanistan, and is visiting Wisconsin to speak at the annual Wisconsin National Guard Association conference. He is also the acclaimed creator of the 2014 documentary Brining the Fallen Home.
