Planned with the tradition and spirit of a German-style Biergarten in mind, organizers of the Hofbrau Pop-up Biergarten return to Kenosha’s beautiful lakefront with another free event, July 20-22. The event is sponsored by BrewFest Partners in cooperation with Visit Kenosha and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.
The hours of the Pop-up Biergarten and Food Truck Rally are Thursday-Friday 3-9pm and Saturday 10:30am-9pm. The three-day summer German-style Biergarten features Hofbräuhaus Bier from Munchen, craft beer, cider, hard seltzer, and wine. There will be food trucks and live music daily. Bratwurst, hotdogs, and giant pretzels will be available to purchase. There will be a nightly stein-hoisting competition. A Vendor and Crafter Marketplace takes place Thurs.-Fri. 3-8pm and Sat. 12-8pm.
The entertainment lineup includes: Steve Shultz Polka Band on Thurs. 6-9pm, Duo Sonic on Fri. 5:30-9pm, and Rock Daddys on Sat. 6-8:30pm. All are invited to gather at 8pm on Saturday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. The album will be played in its entirety.
Admission and parking are free. The event takes place at HarborPark Celebration Place, which is at 5501 Ring Road in Kenosha, WI. The event is open to people of all ages as well as leashed, well-mannered dogs.
